Meet The Girls ...

We are lucky enough to have 10 Mammoth Jennys which we imported from the USA. They vary from between 14-16 hands at the moment - some still have some growing to do!
Oklahoma Annie, Ellie and Judy are the largest donkeys standing at just around the 15.2 - 15.3 hand mark. Both Annie and Judy are black with oatmeal points. Ellie is spotted. All are broken to ride. Annie is trained to drive.
Ellie
We then have Dollie who is a 14.2 black Jenny - very laid back and gentle.
Lady is around 15 hands and is a brown sorrel roan. She was a barrel racer in the USA and is a slightly more spirited ride!

Purdy is a dappled sorrel Jenny who was trained to go hunting up in the Rocky mountains, she would cross streams, stand still whilst the hunter shoots from the saddle, she would then carry home both her rider and a full grown deer! (Very useful now in rural Dorset!)

Dixie and Smoke Signal are the youngest. Dixie is a red sorrel Jenny; Smokey (pictured) is a 3 yr old coloured Mammoth jenny - she enjoys a cuddle! Both are very sweet and love attention. They are excellent children's donkeys.
Meg: Mammoth Donkey foal
Pegasus (Peggy) and Fresh Start (Star) are both in-foal Mammoth Jennys. They are due in spring 2010. We can't wait to see what they produce. Both these Jennys are in foal to American Mammoth Jacks.

We also have 3 broken coloured standard Jennys.
Madison is a beautiful black and white standard Jenny who is in foal to a lovely coloured Jack.
Tara is a stunning unusual dun spotted colour Jenny who is also in foal again to a coloured Jack.
Serease is our little star. She has done Nativity plays in America, been part of a petting zoo, is broken to ride and very gentle. She is in foal for spring 2010.
Last but not least ...
Delilah is the most beautiful tiny standard donkey. She is traditional gray with lovely tan markings. She is very gentle and has lovely conformation. Delilah qualifies in the miniature bracket, as she is only 35 inches. (Bless her!)
Arrow Creek Junie B Jones 2007 31" Grey and brown Pinto, Registered Miniature donkey Jenny from Hickory Hill Donkey Farm, Texas USA. In foal to Registered Black American Jack Stuart little for 2010.
